Foreigners' Favorite Korean Food Top 5

Hanboknam is back!
Today's topic is probably everyone's favorite!
It's all about your favorite Korean Food!

We see all the food in K-dramas and in entertainment shows.
What were the dish that you really craved for when watching those shows?
Some of you might not be familiar with the names so let me introduce to you some of everyone's favorites!

#1. SamGyupSal (삼겹살)
I have never seen people who did not like this food, SamGyupSal.
SamGyupSal by itself is a 3 layered pork meat. We usually cook this by grilling on charcoal with garlic and onion. My foreign friends even wondered why their country never thought to do this! 
It is juicy and savory, not too oily, but just right.
Koreans eat this with lettuce and we call this Ssam.
We grab a lettuce, put a bit of rice, a piece of meat, put a bit of Korean sauce called Ssam Jang, fold the lettuce and put the whole thing in your mouth!
You shouldn't bite it in half because its going to be a mess!!
HAHAHAHAH
It is always fun sharing this Ssam culture with foreigners!

#2. Fried Chicken (치킨)
There are different brands of fried chicken all around the world.
However, Korea's chicken is literally another level.
I am sure it is something you have never tried before.
It has different flavors and taste which will make you want to stay in Korea forever!
It is crunchy and juicy!
Chicken's favorite partner is Moo, which is pickled radish which goes well with chicken,
and never forget soft drinks and beer!
We even call chicken and beer ChiMaek, because MaekJu means beer.
So we usually say "Do you want to do Chimaek?"
And we will all understand what it means!

#3. DdeukBokKi (떡볶이) 
DdeukBokKi is a spicy rice cake dish. 
It is one of Korean children's favorite dish because it is always sold near by schools. 
It is affordable and easy to eat.

It is everyone's favorite and for us to personalize the flavor there are different unlimited DdeukBokKi restaurants with an affordable prize. You can mix different sauces to lessen the spice level or to level up the spice. 
One of the restaurant that is popular is called DooKi. It has already branched out abroad like Vietnam and I heard it will branch out more to other countries too.

#4. BiBimBab(비빔밥)

I think this dish is the first dish that boomed around the world that showed authentic Korean dish.It is a mixture of different vegetable and meat. Different vegetables that blends with one another is visually appealing in the customers' eyes. It's fresh and light, perfect for a meal. It is not salty nor bland.

#5. KimBab(김밥)
Kimbab is also one of the authentic Korean dish that was introduced around the world. 
When foreigners see this dish, they ask if this is a kind of sushi. 
It is not a kind of sushi, because sushi is a Japanese dish while Kimbab is Korean. 
Kimbab, like Bibimbab uses different ingredients, but instead of putting on top on a rice bowl, we pact it inside the seaweed. 
It is like finger food because it is easy to eat and affordable too.

Korea's Han River

Hello everyone!  Today I want to introduce Han River to you, or how Koreans call it- HanGang.  The best time to visit Han River is on a spring day when the temperature is just right for a small picnic with family and friends.  Han river is a place where everyone gather around and enjoy the wind and the food they bring and order! As Han River being a river, it is long so people may wonder which train station to drop off. So people wonder which Han River park to visit.   There are different Han River parks you can visit.  First is YeoYiDo Han River park.  Get off from YeoYi NaRu station and go out to Entrance/exit 2 or 3!  Second is DdukSeom Han River park.  Get off from DdukSeom park and go out to Entrance/exit 2 or 3!  These are the most visited Han river park!
