Korea's Han River

Hello everyone! 

Today I want to introduce Han River to you, or how Koreans call it- HanGang. 

The best time to visit Han River is on a spring day when the temperature is just right for a small picnic with family and friends. 

Han river is a place where everyone gather around and enjoy the wind and the food they bring and order!

As Han River being a river, it is long so people may wonder which train station to drop off. So people wonder which Han River park to visit.  

There are different Han River parks you can visit. 

First is YeoYiDo Han River park. 

Get off from YeoYi NaRu station and go out to Entrance/exit 2 or 3! 

Second is DdukSeom Han River park. 

Get off from DdukSeom park and go out to Entrance/exit 2 or 3! 

These are the most visited Han river park!

When you arrive at these parks, 

rent a mat or a small tent where you can sit and enjoy the sun and wind. 

A lot of places allows you to rent these, 

so do not worry of not knowing where to borrow! 

And also when you get off these places, there will be a lot of people who gives out their restaurants' posters. These posters can be very useful later on so keep it! 

These will be useful because in Korea, people deliver food to you place! 

This is what a lot of foreigners are amused of! 

Delivery food during a picnic?! 

Yes a lot of people order their favorite chicken and drink beer! 

Others buy food from outside and eat it there, if they do not want to order. 

Also one thing that a lot of foreigners and Koreans do is to go to a convenience store and get a cup noodle. 

There is a machine just for this food!! 

Other than food, 

you can enjoy Han river by riding bicycles. 

You may borrow this at different spots of the park. 

It costs around 3000-5000 won depends on what you ride! 

Riding the bicycle while smelling the freshness of Spring, 

I am sure you will be stress-free afterwards! 

During summer days, they also have different activities prepared

to win over the heat! 

There were movie nights, 

water gun fights,

and much more which were really fun and exciting!
