I am Hanboknam and I'm going to introduce you to our new branch near by Gyeongbok Palace.

But before doing that, let me simply explain on Gyeongbok palace.

Gyeongbok palace is one of the famous tourist attractions in Korea, it's the place where the king of the Joseon Dynasty used to live and work.

We can certainly say that the palace is the perfect place where you can feel and experience on what Korea traditional culture is.

New Branch of Hanboknam

Hanboknam is not only my name, but it is also the name of Hanbok rental shop.

There are three rental shops of Hanboknam in Seoul, the new branch near by Gyeongbok palace just opened in last fall.

If you would like to visit Gyeongbok palace wearing Hanbok, the new branch of hanboknam is going to provide super convenience services.

Best location

The hanbok rental shop is placed just near by the palace, it takes about less then 10 min by walk between the shop and the palace.

In addition, you can easily find the shop cause the rental shop is placed at around the Gyeongbok palace station, exit 4.

As soon as you get out of the exit, please find the yellow building drawing your attention.

That is it what you're exactly looking for, it is the 3rd-opened branch of Hanboknam in Seoul.

Before you borrow Hanbok, which is Korean traditional costume, here are some tips for your better choice of wearing hanbok.

The clothes prepared at the shop is divided into two categories, one is a character hanbok and the other is a traditional hanbok.

Depending on your preference, you can choose one of two at our hanbok rental shop.

If you make up your mind on which one you will go with, then you're going to see many types of clothes.

We have many clothes in different colors, different styles, and different fabrications.

The only thing you should do at the shop is that just follow your heart and choose one out of many attractive choices.

Wide spaces

We're using 3 stories of the yellow building for your convenience.
The basement is for fee self-studio and locker room, 1st and 2nd stories are full of beautiful hanbok both for adult and kids.
Therefore It's designed with the flow of foot traffic.
You can find the thing what we are trying to show you our efforts for being a best hanbok rental shop and just enjoy joyful moments in wide spaces.

Professional Photo Studio

The photo studio is placed on the top story of the building, it will give you another advantage to come visit our hanbok rental shop.
The studio doesn't belong to hanboknam, but you can use there with discount price cause Hanboknam is in partnership with the studio.
A professional photographer is waiting for you. We recommend you to make a reservation before using the studio.
If any questions for using the studio, please ask our staffs.

Hair-styling for free

Here is the best advantage for you. We provide you free service of hair styling. (it's only for women.)
Beautiful hair accessories are prepared well matched with hanbok.
Depending on length of your hair, our staff is going to suggest you any hair styling you might like,
Or you could ask the staff to do hair-styling whatever you want to do.

Locker room for free

There is a locker room for your convenience at the basement of building.
You can use it for free and keep unnecessary stuffs before going out outside.
When you sign up at the front desk to wear hanbok, the staff will give you the key for your own locker.

 

Self-studio for Free

Here is another reason why you should come visit the Gyeongbok palace branch.

There is a self studio using for free. We have 3 branches of hanbok rental shop in Seoul, but it's only provided here.

There are many kinds of Korean traditional stuffs, you can have a enjoyable moment with the stuffs.
