I'm back again to showcase some of our amazing photos at Changdeokgung palace
that exudes its beauty all year around!

On today's post, I'll cover all about our Changdeokgung branch, and the Premium branch as well as the night viewing at Changgyeonggung palace😊

Opening days / hours: Tuesday ~ Sunday, 9:00-19:00 


The Changdeokgung branch of Hanboknam is located in the vicinity of the ticket booth at Changdeokgung palace which is very accessible.
You can easily move in and out of the store in your long and puffy Hanbok as it's at a ground level.




The Changdeokgung branch actually just moved about last year and renovated the entire design of the store just for our visitors!

You'll definitely feel more treated browsing through Hanboks and trying them on at our newly renovated store!🥰

We displayed ivory-toned Hanboks as the main product and some vivid-colored ones to play around with the color!



We offer basic hair accessories, ringed inner skirts, cabinets for your belongings, and headbands for FREE if you rent Hanboks at Hanboknam!😆

This is applicable to all of our branches for your convenience!



Hanboknam is also well-known for our incredible hairstyling service which you can accessorize with pearled-hair pins, but you can elevate your look even further with other extravagant accessories at just 3,000 KRW!






We categorize our Hanboks into traditional (basic), themed, and premium Hanboks.

Our Traditional (basic) Hanboks are minimally ornated and neat Hanboks

whereas themed-Hanboks are more extravagantly decorated in gold.

Premium Hanboks are the up-scaled line of our Hanboks that have refined designs :)


We also have Hanboks for boys, men, kids and they come in multiple sizes, so don't you worry!

Our Hanbok rentals are proceeded by first come first serve, so please understand that it's not possible for us to reserve a specific Hanbok of your preference in advance.

Changdeokgung branch, Premium Hanbok


Many of you have asked if we're renting out our premium line of Hanboks at the Changdeokgung branch and the answer is YES!



We have a cancan + layered styled skirts as you can see in the picture above!

This type of extravagant skirt is mostly rented for wedding photoshoots and snapshots😊

Our store also has a dedicated line of premium Hanboks 

for men and kids for you to enjoy!


I see that many of you have also took advantage of KLOOK 
and booked a ticket to rent our traditional (basic) / themed-Hanboks
at a discounted price!

You don't need to worry about wanting to change your Hanbok amognst the premium line
as we'll take care of everything regards to pricing on the spot!


The collection of our premium line of Hanboks is relatively narrower than other lines at the Changdeokgung branch, 

yet we offer a broader selection of hair accessories, bags, shoes, refined inner skrits, inner pants, and norigae (ornamental pendant) and much more at the Premium branch!

The Premium branch is located nearby the exit 4 of Gyeongbokgung station

where we have 2,000 piles of premium Hanboks!🤩

A lot of tourists visit our Premium branch to rent more refined Hanboks despite its distance to the palace.

Mind you, this branch is more accessible by taxi than by foot to either Changgyeonggung or Changdeokgung palace 😀💗


Night Viewing at Changgyeonggung Palace



Changgyeonggung palace is the only palace in Seoul that's opened for a night viewing all year around!

A lot of visitors book for a nighttime photoshoot by Chundangji pond that glistens by its surrounding lights.

Tuesday ~ Sunday 9:00~21:00

Closed every Sunday

Closed the day after holiday when the date aligns with the original closing day

Latest entrance by 20:00 (one hour before closing).



Hanboknam's Premium branch opens until 22:00 during the night viewing season of  Gyeongbokgung palace!

You might think it's difficult to rent Hanbok during the night viewing season of Changgyeonggung palace,

BUT you always can keep up with Gyeongbokgung palace's night viewing dates

and rent your Hanbok from our Premium branch!😊
