Information on Hanbok Rental Booking

 

Q1. How do I book for my visit to the Hanboknam store, and is it necessary to book for my visit?

A1. It is not necessary to book your visit in advance, and walk-ins are always welcomed! However, you can purchase the rental ticket at a much discounted price if you do book your visit on KLOOK.

Q2. Can I book my visit at a specific time?

A2. It's not possible to book your visit at a specific time, but you can visit our store at any time!

However, it is possible to book our makeup and snapshot service at a specific time. If you wish to visit us in a company of ten or more, you can email us regards to the exact number of your company and the date of your visit to our email address in advance so that we can assist you further!

Q3. I booked my visit to Hanboknam on KLOOK, but I want to change the date.

A3. If you wish to change the date of your visit one week prior or after to your actual date of visit, you don't have to bother changing the date, and you can visit us when you're free!

 

Q4. Can you reserve a specific Hanbok of my preference?

A4. No, we cannot reserve a specific Hanbok of your preference. The types and stocks of Hanboks vary by each of our Hanboknam branch. It’ll be more ideal for you to visit our store in person, as the availability of our Hanbok may vary. We have approximately 2,000 Hanboks at Hanboknam!

 

Q5. Can I purchase a ticket to rent traditional (basic) or themed-Hanboks but upgrade it to premium at the store?

A5. Yes, it's possible to upgrade your Hanbok to a premium one at the store by paying the additional price.

Q1. What's the rental price for Hanbok at Hanboknam?

A1. The price may vary by the type of Hanbok of your selection, as well as the duration of the rental. You can check out the rental price by clicking the link below. If you rent our Hanbok, we offer a number of complimentary services like basic hairstyling, headbands, and inner skirts!

Q2. What kind of Hanboks do you have at your store?

A2. As of now, we have traditional (basic), themed, and premium Hanboks.

 

Q3. Do you have kids’ Hanbok? What's the rental price for them?

A3. Hanboknam does have kids’ Hanbok for 12-month-old babies to 12-year-olds! Kids from the age of 13 can rent adult's Hanboks.

The rental price for kids' Hanbok is equivalent to the adults'.

 

Q4. Do you have Hanboks in plus sizes?

A4. Absolutely! For women's Hanbok, we have them in a bust size up to 150 and 155cm.

The closing hour may vary by each branch during the night viewing season at the Gyeongbokgung Palace and Korean Folk village!

 

Q2. Can I rent Hanbok during rainy days?

A2. Of course! You can rent our Hanbok during rainy days.

 

Information on Our Photoshoot and Makeup Service

 

Q1. Can I book for a photoshoot? How much is it and do I need to book for the service in advance?

A1. You can check out its price and book our package deal that includes both Hanbok rental and a photoshoot on KLOOK.

Q2. Is there a way to extend the time of my photoshoot?

A2. Yes, but you can do so by purchasing two separate tickets for the photoshoot!

You may be able to extend the duration of your photoshoot on the spot if there’s no reserved photoshoot schedule after yours, but if there happens to be one, extension may not be possible. We strongly encourage you to purchase these tickets according to your need in advance!

Q4. Is it possible to book for hairstyling or makeup services? How much are they and do I need to book for those in advance?

A4. The basic hairstyling service will be offered without charge if you rent our Hanbok. However, hair accessories will be charged.

If you want sophisticated hair-dos, you will have to book for the hairstyling service in advance!

Q5. Can I book for a makeup service with photoshoot as a package deal at the Jeonju branch?

A5. We're currently not offering the package deal at the Jeonju branch. We recommend you to book for them separately!

Q1. What’s included in DSP? What are the types of Hanbok I can rent and for how long?

A1. DSP includes Hanbok rental (traditional (basic) / themed-Hanboks can be rented until 18:00) + basic hairstyling + cabinets to store your belongings +inner skirts and headbands!

Q2. Do I need to book for my visit to the store?

A2. No, it’s not necessary to book your visit to our store. However, you can visit our store during our opening hours! You may not be able to rent our Hanbok just before the closing time under certain circumstances.

 

Q3. Can I utilize DSP to upgrade my Hanbok to premium?

A3. Yes, you can! However, the rental price for premium Hanbok will be higher than other Hanboks per hour. If you wish to rent our premium Hanbok using your ‘Discover Seoul Pass,’ there will be an additional charge as outlined below:

1 Hour +23,000 KRW / 3 Hours +33,000 KRW / All day +88,000 KRW

However, the additional charge may vary depending on the type of Hanbok you choose.

 

Q4. Can I get a photoshoot using my 'Discover Seoul Pass?'

A4. We're currently not offering a single package deal solely for photoshoots. You’ll need to book a package that includes both Hanbok rental from our store and a photoshoot session. Alternatively, you can choose to book a session with other photographers outside of our store.
