Hello from Hanboknam!

We've been thrilled to run our Bukchon Hanok village branch 

since last summer!🎊🎊

Bukchon Hanok village is a very special place for many people.

The entire village has been preserved in its original state,

with traditional houses maintained throughout its alleyways.

It's a popular tourist destination,

and you'll often see visitors dressed in Hanbok

to match the village's charming atmosphere.

Hanboknam currently operates several branches across Korea:

Gyeongbokgung, Premium, Changdeokgung,

Yongin Korean folk village, Jeonju Hanok village

and our most recent branch of course, the Bukchon Hanok village.

Interestingly, Hanboknam's very first branch was 

originally located in Bukchon Hanok village in Seoul.

But, our Gyeongbokgung branch has now become 

our most prominent location.

We had to say goodbye to our Bukchon branch during the pandemic,

but after working diligently over the years,

we've finally re-opened it! 👏👏

Though the branch's location has changed,

we're thrilled to be back!

This time, we're more prepared than ever,

offering an even more diverse collection of Hanbok

and a beautiful indoor photo studio

to create a fun experience for our customers!😍

and rent our latest Hanbok designs and accessories!

When you rent Hanbok from us,

we offer a complimentary basic hairstyling service,

ringed inner skirts, secure cabinets to store your belongings,

and stylish headbands!

To celebrate our opening, our Hanbok rental tickets

are now on sale at a special price on KLOOK,

so you can enjoy a discounted rate compared to other branches!

Additionally, we're running an all-day 20,000 KRW Hanbok rental event

for both traditional (basic) and themed-Hanboks on our social media channels.

That's why we've set up beautiful photo studios

inside our Bukchon Hanok village branch.

We've partnered with a professional photographer 

from "Shine Film" who skillfully turns each photo

into a picturesque moment (the session is limited on Sundays).

She offers both snapshot and professional photoshoot sessions,

but we recommend booking your session on KLOOK in advance

as we need to coordinate with her schedule!👍

Bukchon Hanok village is also a popular location for wedding photoshoots,

where you can see couples dress up in Hanbok!

The village's iconic downhill path,

lined with traditional Hanoks on both sides,

is the most popular spot for taking exotic shots

surrounded by these beautiful ancient houses!

As you walk through the village's cozy, narrow alleyways,

you'll easily spot cute photo spots.

making her the ideal choice for your photoshoot in this area!

One of the highlights of our Bukchon Hanok village branch is

our professional photoshoot service :)

The branch features two photo zones:

1. Hori Zone

This area provides a pure white background 

that enhances the beauty of your appearance,

and the vivid colors of your Hanbok!

2. Hanok Zone

This photo zone includes an authentic Hanok structure,

crafted by a real Hanok architect, and is completed with luxurious props.

This zone is especially popular for its elegant and authentic atmosphere.

* The models in the photos you see have had professional hair and make up done.

If you choose our "Profile Package," you'll receive a Hanbok rental,

a photoshoot session, and a complimentary basic hairstyling service.

Photoshoot Themes We Offer

We have a variety of photoshoot themes available at our Bukchon Hanok village branch!

1. Queen

 This theme allows you to wear an elegant "Dangee"

(additional upper garment for women's Hanbok)

to recreate the look of a Joseon-era queen.

It has become our most popular theme recently!

2.  "Painting of Beauty" (by artist, Shin Yun-bok)

Inspired by the famous painting from the Joseon era,

our interpretation allows you to become part of the artwork,

highlighting your silhouette for a graceful and artistic effect :)

3. So-ee (White Clothes)

This theme features a pure white, see-through Hanbok with no decorations,

bringing out a mysterious, ethereal beauty in photographs.

4. Eowudong

Inspired by Eowudong, one of the most beautiful women in the Joseon era,

this theme captures her elegant yet poignant life story

through photographs!

5. K-pop Star

If you're looking for something cute and lively, try our K-pop star theme,

featuring a Hanbok adorned with flower props.

It's perfect for those who want a fun and adorable photoshoots!
